Designer, manager, and food justice advocate focused on bringing design thinking practices into locally beneficial non-profit settings. I use my training as a designer to develop more efficient local food distribution systems, strengthening relationships between rural family farms and urban communities with limited access to fresh, affordable produce. I strongly believe that good design can have a positive impact on local and global societies.

With a background in sculpture, non-profit management, Graphic & Transdisciplinary Design, I'am interested in empowering communities by sharing equity and maximizing local resources through cooperative action.  I see creative placemaking as a means for positive bottom-up, social, environmental and economic change and the development of networked small, local, open and connected communities and the concept of the cosmopolitan local as a model to transition toward more sustainable future societies.
