Designers are increasingly provided the opportunity to design products around social needs and environmental issues. This final project situated students into a complex social problem where they were asked to assess the needs of fellow students participating in an off-campus social protest, and identify opportunities for a valuable product proposal in support of communicating their message and/or addressing issues of safety. Students will give brief presentations of their work before the exhibition of the products, communications, and environment junior class work opens.
