The Environments mini sophomores will be presenting their concepts for an augmented reality tour at Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. MDes/MPS Communication Design Studio (Rohrbach/Yasko)

In the form of 5-minute presentations, each student will walk-through interactive prototypes that they designed as their final project in the course. Based on Pittsburgh-related data that they gathered, students posed questions to investigate and visualized pertinent information as a way of uncovering and highlighting patterns and important, inherent relationships among the data.

Reviews start at 1:30pm and run every 20 min 
Please stop by the MDes Science Fair! Second-year students will share their thesis work and thinking to-date with visitors via informal ten-minute presentations and ten-minute conversations, which will run every twenty minutes from 1:30-3:30. Catch a glimpse of their work beforehand from 1:00-1:30. They're looking forward to talking with you and gaining your input!

Bringing Futures to Life

Come sample freely from an experiential futures smorgasbord of 1:1-scale interactions with possible worlds, each based on a previously published story or scenario.
