Graphic Design USA, a business-to-business information source for graphic design professionals for more than 50 years, has named Carnegie Mellon University's School of Design students Zainab Aliyu and Robyn Lambert as two of their Students to Watch for 2016. The list, sponsored by The Creative Group, identifies top students ready to make a significant impact on design.

From the Graphic Design USA website:

"With the help of many of America’s leading art and design schools, we once again identify top students ready to burst on the design scene. Some are undergrads, others are graduate students, all have found personal and professional growth through their programs. Our Students To Watch feature has become a tradition that resonates and renews: the students get recognized and the professional creative community gets refreshed."

Aliyu (top), a junior Communications Design student, and Lambert (bottom), a senior studying Communications Design and Human Computer Interaction, will both have featured profiles on the Graphic Design USA website. Graphic Design USA also listed Carnegie Mellon University's School of Design as one of their Top Design Schools of 2016. The theme of their listing of schools is that "education is more important than ever as the lines between the studio and the classroom, the office and the academy, the university and society, continue to blur."

The School of Design wants to congratulate Zainab and Robyn with this accomplishment.
