Adam Cowart

Adam is a strategic foresight professional, a teaching fellow in the School of Design, and a playwright. He is an Adjunct Professor of Foresight at the University of Houston and Director of Operations for LCL.
Adam holds a Creative Writing BFA and MFA from the University of British Columbia, an MBA from Simon Fraser University, and an MSc in Foresight from the University of Houston. He is also a past participant of the Stanford d.School’s Design Thinking Bootcamp and Harvard’s Reimagining Strategy executive education program.
Professional publications include “The Futurist’s Menagerie” and “Pity the 1%” in Scenario magazine, co-author of “Setting up a Horizon Scanning System” in the World Futures Review, and a chapter in “Glimpses of a Post-Capitalist Future” published by Design by Accident Press. Creative outputs include his recently produced play Entanglement which premiered at the Impact Festival.
