Hi! I'm Rachel.
I'm a multidisciplinary designer who seeks to create compelling experiences, spaces and communications. Currently a sophomore at Carnegie Mellon University majoring in Design and Human-Computer Interaction with a minor in Intelligent Environments.
Design encompasses my passion for aesthetic practice, analytical capacity and humanism. Such totems continue to govern my thinking and making processes-- my attention to detail, ability to comprehensively understand the scope of the context at hand and strong sense of empathy are some of my most valuable assets as a designer. Through my practice, I aspire to produce compelling works that delight and speak an innately human language for systemic interactions, for the present world and whatever lies ahead. Recently, I've been interested in exploring the applications of design in the development of emerging technologies and for service to communities.
