Design Alumnus Wins HCI International Student Design Gold Award

Chirag Murthy, an alumnus of Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Design (MDes ’18), will receive a Gold Award for his submission to the 2018 HCI International Student Design Competition.  Murthy’s award-winning project “tac.tic,” is a tactile design language for indoor-outdoor pedestrian navigation.

Alumnus Victor Ng Creates Design Scholarship

Senior Manager of Newsroom Brand Marketing and School of Design Alumnus Victor Ng (BFA '12) has announced the creation of the "Victor Ng Design Impact Award," an annual $3,000 award given  to one freshman, sophomore, or junior “whose work demonstrates a passion for how design can advance social justice, promote equality, and improve the human condition.”
