CMU Alumnus Highlighted by Forbes for Building a ‘Bridge for Billions’

Pablo Santaeufemia, an alumnus from Carnegie Mellon University, was recently named one of Forbes’ 30 Under 30 in Social Entrepreneurship for his online platform Bridge for Billions. Bridge for Billions is a business development software platform that helps early-stage entrepreneurs craft their ideas and then connect them with mentors to better enable them in their endeavors.

Uriel Eisen, a graduate alumnus from Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Design, along with his team at Rorus, inc have been selected for Forbes’ 30 Under 30 in Social Entrepreneurship. Rorus Inc. makes water filters for disaster relief and developing countries.

Design Alumnus Releases Book on UX Design Research

David Farkas, a dual degree graduate alumnus from Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Design and the Human-Computer Interaction Institute (BFA & BS 2008), recently released his book UX Research: Practical Techniques for Designing Better Products. The book, which was co-authored with Brad Nunnally, serves as a primer and desk reference for product designers who need help with design research fundamentals.

Alumna Showcases Design for the Whitney Museum of American Art

Hilary Greenbaum, a Communication Design Alumna from CMU’s School of Design, serves as the Director of Graphic Design at the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York City. Her team just launched design.whitney.org, a new website which documents the work of the museum’s Graphic Design Department.
