Applicants and their families are welcome to visit the School of Design, meet members of our community, and tour our facilities. General university tours are also available, but they do not include visits to individual schools or departments. You can arrange a general tour here.
Undergraduate Program Visits
During the school year our undergraduate program offers daily tours and periodic Q&A sessions for prospective students and their families. Q&A sessions are hosted by either Melissa Cicozi, the Assistant Head of the school, or Stephen Stadelmeier, the Associate Head. Current students conduct design studio tours, providing program and admissions information, as well as a chance to interact with other current design students.
Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate drop-in visitors; every member of our staff and faculty maintains a challenging schedule of commitments. To book a visit, please choose one of the 45-minute sessions shown below, then reserve your place by emailing us.
Guided Design Studio Tours
During the school year, beginning in September, studio tours are offered Monday through Friday at 12:30pm.
Summer tours are available on Mondays and Fridays at 12:00pm by appointment only on these dates:
- June 5-16 (Mondays and Fridays)
- June 30
- July 3 - August 11 (Mondays and Fridays)
Please email us to request a tour, and we will do our best to accommodate you.
All tours are led by a current Design student
