The School of Design's Jonathan Chapman will be a keynote speaker at the He Kāhui Mano - Tribal Summit on August 14th, 2024. The summit is a three-day event for indigenous communities to reimagine and redefine our future through a community-led, kaupapa-driven circular economy.

The He Kāhui Mano - Tribal Summit aims to explore the intersection of climate change, culture, and community, focusing on how indigenous communities can tackle local challenges and contribute to global change. The event seeks to redefine the future through a community-led, kaupapa-driven circular economy. Over three days, participants will have the opportunity to learn, reflect, and engage in deep discussions on aligning circularity with cultural and social well-being, unlocking economic potential, and providing tools for sustainable change.

Jonathan's keynote, Design that Lasts: Toward a Circular, Regenerative Future, will occur on August 16th at 10:15 AM NZT (6:15 PM EST)
