Plan a Visit

The School of Design is a special place and we welcome the opportunity to have you experience what makes us great.  This year, since the university has decided to cancel all admission related on-campus visits and group tours for the foreseeable future (, we are working out plans for virtual visits to meet with you whether you are currently in the application process or looking towards applying in the future. During these visits you can meet members of our community, talk to current students, and tour our facilities. In addition, online live Virtual Campus Tours are available for Registration here:

Undergraduate Program Visits

While on-campus tours and in-person events are on hold, interested students can also take part in Design Expereince Day. The School of Design Experience Day is an event that happens once during the fall semester and once in the spring semester. It provides you the opportunity to experience the culture, the work, and the people (faculty, staff, and students) that are the life of the School of Design. The Design Experience Day will collocate with the Turn Tartan Overnight program and be held via a Zoom on Thursday October 28th from 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM (EST). You will be provided an overview of the school and its programs, the studio experience, and the opportunity for Q&A. Register through the Turn Tartan Experience site.

Graduate Program Visits

We host Visitors' Days for prospective graduate students two times a year —once in mid-November and again in late March. Visitors' Days are planned and scheduled according to the best opportunities for you to learn more about the work taking place here, and to interact with our core faculty and current students. To get started on planning your visit and to reserve your place, see the visitor information pages for the Master’s Programs and/or Doctoral Programs.
