An interactive mini zen garden

How can we use data to visualize our environment and improve mundane routines through playful and delightful experiences?

The ZenScape Garden is an interactive, sensory ferrofluid garden. Inspired by the Pomodoro Technique, sand gardens, and smart-home devices, we sought to incorporate modern data-collection into a product that benefits the user’s well-being and focus.

A Zen Garden that reads and visualizes ambient data for the user to iterpret. Through more successful visualizations of "optimal" interactions within the space, users are able to reward successful practices to improve their daily, mundane routines.
